'Unruly', ‘highly-innovative’, 'against all rules’ and ‘what’s up with the hair?’ are the first comments of the Dutch audience after seeing and hearing the four young men that is Hunting The Robot. These guys, with an average age of 17, found each other at the end of 2009 from the desire for a revolution in the Dutch music scene and they are well on their way. In early 2011, Hunting The Robot released their debut EP, ‘Our Ocean Is Illuminated,’ and they could no longer be ignored. Hailed by the press they soon visited ‘De Wereld Draait Door’, 3FM and almost every Dutch venue you can think of. All this is done without the help of a record label, booker or producer..

After the EP that deals with serious subjects such as the usefulness of routine, life in its darkest form and raising a teenage daughter Hunting The Robot now comes with a more lighthearted one-off single entitled ‘Get Pregnant’. "We are pleased with this single and its b-side, I am curious about the reactions of this somewhat different direction for us," says singer Elvin Usidame.

Currently Hunting The Robot is working on their debut album which is expected to be released in January 2014. All of this is once again being recorded in their own studio and in no one's time but theirs. Expect crazy grooves, african beats and sweet harmonies.
